Pastured-raised, worm-eating, bug-scratching, non-GMO primal chicken.  This bird was raised how chickens are meant to live: outside, on grass, with room to forage.  This might very well be "The Best Chicken in the World", but will surely be the best chicken you have ever had.

These chickens are our older egg laying hens that have given us many eggs throughout the last 2 years.  Stewing hens are sought after for their superior nutrient value that comes at a lower cost. Stewing hens need to be cooked at a low heat for several hours before they will become tender. When cooked correctly, however, stewing hens yield delicious meat and rich, flavorful chicken stock. The flavor is rich and delightful.
